I always become slightly reflective when it’s time for the next step. I tend to take a step back and look at everything, right when I’m in the middle of it all.
I’ve decided it’s time to do things differently when it comes to what I do for a living. I won’t be changing field, just altering things around a bit. When the time comes, I’ll explain it more. But for now I’m taking it as it comes. Around the office we have a few parks and pathways, some of which I’ve only just recently discovered. Or perhaps rediscovered.

Solna is a place where I’ve spent so much time for different reasons during different chapters of my life. The first period I spent there was when my old church used to gather there. That was when I first moved to Sweden. Then the church moved to another location in Solna, so I kept spending time there. By the way, Solna is about ten minutes by train from central Stockholm.
So I hung out there on and off until I was about 18 or 19. After that I would only ever go there occasionally. I recorded a few drum tracks at SAE Institute Stockholm once, a famous music media school right in the middle of Solna. And of course, Sweden’s biggest shipping mall opened there as well, in the end of 2015.
And suddenly, three and a half years ago, I started working in Solna. It’s been great, but, it’s time for a change. During my lunch breaks, just these past days, I’ve had a walk around the place. Walking down memory lane and seeing old stuff that I haven’t seen for a while. It’s good for the mind.
